Conferences at Balmoral Receptions

At Balmoral Receptions our aim is to provide an environment conducive to the successful facilitation of your conference. The venue is a historic, former hotel (circa 1854) with an intrinsic charm and serenity, comprising a main room for major presentations and two adjacent smaller rooms for ‘break out’ groups, a foyer for registration and extensive gardens perfect for ‘reflection and gathering one’s thoughts’. Together with Truffleduck’s enviable reputation for exceptional service and catering, the two combine to provide the complete conference package.

Our service:

  • Exclusive use of all rooms and grounds for the duration of your conference.
  • Catering: Appropriate catering throughout including morning/afternoon breaks, lunch and dinner. This is arranged in conjunction with your conference organiser. Full liquor license if liquor service is required. Iced water and mints on the table.
  • Equipment: Overhead projection equipment, screens, P.A. systems, Television, DVD, VHS, flip charts, lectern and white boards are available for your use throughout the day. Other equipment can be arranged as required e.g. data projector, electronic whiteboard etc at an additional cost.
  • Dedicated function co-ordinator to provide liaison and ensure the effectiveness of our service to your conference.
  • Our commitment to tailor or services to meet your individual and specific requirements.

The bottom line:

An inclusive package of venue (equipment) and catering comprising:

Registration Percolated coffee and Twinings tea
Morning Tea Savoury scrolls and assorted sweet pieces.
Lunch A buffet style lunch incorporating salads, fork dish (casserole, curry or similar), assorted breads, fresh fruit platter and dessert.
Afternoon Tea Cheese, fruit and biscuits and slices.

Freshly brewed coffee and tea with pure orange juice is offered at all breaks.
A venue hire fee is applicable for 15 or fewer participants.

Options: (at additional cost)

  • Catering may be extended to include more substantial offerings at any point eg. extra hot fork dish, carvery or buffet or even a sit down meal at lunch. Cakes or sandwiches can be included at minor breaks.

  • Bar service

A venue hire fee is applicable for 15 or fewer participants.
