welcome to dcuk (pronounced “duck”)
dcuk evolved as a result of renovations at the fyansford base of truffleduck. during the six months of renovation we needed a space to continue our catering operation and were fortunate enough to “find” the wool exchange, a fabulous building with not one, but two kitchens, one upstairs for our catering and one downstairs with a café attached, (hence “dcuk” – downstairs café, upstairs kitchen).
the café is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm, monday to friday for breakfast (all day) and lunch, and earlier or later or at weekends for functions or group bookings. we also have a private function room that is capable of seating 100 people available at any time. this room is ideal for day time corporate conferences or nightime parties, especially 21st (conditions apply).
dcuk is aimed squarely at those of us looking for something better at lunch time, whether you are a busy worker with limited time, or one of the fortunate ones who had made time to linger over lunch. the menu (refer below) is both very affordable and quite extensive offering something for everyone. it is seasonally based with variations on a monthly basis and an exciting page of daily specials to ensure you can come back everyday. everything is cooked to order and there is even a range of house baked cakes and sweet treats for those who need to satisfy their sweet side. to compliment the wonderful food we have assembled a great list of local wines alongside some specialties from other regions of Australia (the marlborough region is part of the east coast isn’t it?) as well as some bubbles from france and some iconic classics from australia because dcuk is the perfect place to celebrate something special.
if its simply coffee you want while you sit and chat, we do that very well too, we have been fortunate enough to be selected to provide di manfredi coffee, an exclusive blend, that is made available only to locations that are capable of providing a venue and ambience that allows discerning coffee drinkers to relax and enjoy a truly great cup. we also have a range of leaf teas for those who enjoy a proper pot of tea.
we’re excited by our new café and we know you will be too. please call to make a reservation and experience dcuk for yourself.
