We began as a small café in James Street, central Geelong in 1988. Some said we were ahead of our time – even then, powers that be whispered about creating a central foodie + art hub. 

Our tiny team offered two things unheard of in Geelong at that time: breakfast and bagels. Unable to source premium bagels elsewhere, we made ours onsite to an authentic Jewish recipe. We soon became known as a team who made things happen. 

Our innovative approach drove opportunities. Demand for what we did created a need for after-hours events. Demand for after-hours events created a need for external catering. We began planning and creating superb food experiences at other venues and developed an excellent reputation for delicious food, superb presentation and premium event planning.

Weddings, parties, corporate events Geelong, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast and beyond became our signature.

When a long-term lease at Balmoral arose, it seemed a natural progression. So, in 1995 we left James Street and relocated to Fyansford to continue our journey with more room, more flexibility and more opportunity to grow.

Demand continued to drive us. By 2009, we knew we needed a better space and more versatility. We plunged in, relocating to Geelong for 12 months while undertaking extensive renovations at Balmoral to create a state-of-the-art event space.

In 2013, Deakin University approached us to create a hospitality precinct within the Geelong uni campus to foster greater engagement with the Geelong community.

Now, our dedicated team of hand-picked professionals is bigger and busier than ever. We have an extensive portfolio of event partners and venues. Our credentials for facilitating major and large-scale international, national, regional and local events speak for themselves:

• 3-day international marine conference on the Geelong waterfront for 800 delegates
• corporate village at UCI World Cycling Championships for 500 guests
• official catering for Davis Cup tennis teams and officials
• catering for 2-week training camp for Japanese baseball team
• event catering for Skandia and Audi sailing in Melbourne and Geelong during Festival of Sail
• 900 guests on the oval at Geelong College to celebrate 150 years
• 1200 guests at Doncaster Melbourne for launch of 7 Series BMW.
